About Me

I'm Torsten Albert, a Senior Software Developer specializing in cross-platform mobile applications, high-performance backend systems, and mission-critical software engineering. With more than a decade of experience building reliable digital solutions for industries such as aviation, food safety, telecommunications, and IT security, I combine deep technical knowledge with a strong focus on software quality and long-term maintainability.

My expertise spans C++ (98–20), Qt, Python, React, and modern DevOps tooling. I'm passionate about designing robust architectures, optimizing performance, and solving complex engineering challenges in distributed and safety-relevant environments.

Currently, I work at Testo SE & Co. KGaA, where I develop cross-platform mobile apps and Bluetooth communication frameworks for professional measurement devices used globally. I hold a Master's degree in High Integrity Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

If you're looking for a developer who understands reliability, precision, and performance — I build software that lasts.
